"Throughout the final weeks of my mother's life as she was passing through dementia , she had lost the ability to speak.
I often asked her questions to see if perhaps I could spark a thought or a memory. For weeks there was only silence. It was a question I often asked when sharing care duties with my sister.
On the last day we spent together I asked again . "Hey Mom... What are you thinking about?"
Then she whispered her last words to me ... "How To Get To Heaven".
She departed this world two days later.
